About Rodeo City Raw
Who We Are
Rodeo City Raw is a small-batch fresh pet food company built around one simple value: care.
Care in the ingredients we choose.
Care in how our food is prepared.
Care for the pets that depend on us every single day.
Care for those pet parents seeking out how to do better for their pets and don’t know how to get started, who to trust and are full of questions. We love this and welcome all your questions!!!
We believe our pets are family, and feeding them should feel just as thoughtful and intentional as feeding the people we love.
Why We Started Rodeo City Raw
It started with a loss.
After losing one of our own dogs to cancer, I found myself searching for answers. That journey led me deep into canine health, disease and the role that nutrition plays—and what I discovered changed the way I care for my dogs today.
The average lifespan of a Boxer is less than nine years. That simply isn’t enough time. We believe we can do better. With simple, intentional positive lifestyle choices—including what we feed—we can support longer, healthier lives filled with greater comfort and vitality well into their senior years.
Preparing for the health of our puppies begins with the dam, three months prior to conception. Their mother’s milk so full of nutrients, later eating real food, receiving love, and a foundation for lifelong health.
What you feed from the beginning shapes everything that follows.
The moment he came to us, his nutrition changed.
Thriving, years Later. Notice his coat!
What we’ve learned over a lifetime with dogs
For over 25 years, our lives have been around raising, caring for and showing exceptional dogs.
As longtime breeders of AKC Champion Boxers, we’ve seen firsthand how deeply nutrition impacts overall health, longevity and quality of life.
What we feed matters, not just for today but for the years ahead and generations to come.
Cats thrive on real food too. This is our kitty, Cinder!
Why real food became non-negotiable
Like so many pet owners, we wanted something better for our own dogs and cats.
Not vague, overly complicated labels filled with unrecognizable ingredients.
Not filler ingredients.
Not overly processed shortcuts like rice, potatoes, corn, soy, wheat, or grains.
We wanted real food made with high-quality, recognizable ingredients and complete transparency. Food where you know exactly what’s in your pet’s bowl and why.
How Rodeo City Raw was created
What began as preparing fresh meals for our own dogs and litters of puppies quickly grew into something more. Friends and family began asking for the same thoughtfully prepared meals we were making at home.
Rodeo City Raw was created from that simple goal of helping dogs and cats live longer, stronger, more vibrant lives through real, whole-food nutrition.
What we believe today
Every recipe is handcrafted in small batches with care, intention and deep respect for the animals who depend on us.
We didn’t create Rodeo City Raw to be the biggest fresh food company.
We created it to be honest, intentional, and deeply trustworthy because we are passionate about pet health, yours and ours.
Because we believe pets thrive when their food is nourishing, balanced and as close to nature as possible.
How Our Food Is Made — And Why That Matters
Our recipes are made in small batches using whole animal proteins, fresh vegetables and fruits, and supportive herbs, seeds and roots.
Every ingredient is chosen with the same mindset you would use in your own kitchen- foods you recognize, trust and feel good about serving.
Nothing unnecessary. Nothing hidden.
Just real food, prepared thoughtfully, because we understand how much your pet means to you.
Why You Can Trust Us With Your Pet’s Food
At Rodeo City Raw, we believe you should feel confident and reassured about what you are feeding your pet.
You should be able to read our ingredient list and understand it.
You should feel good when you open the package.
You should feel proud of what you’re putting in their bowl.
When you choose Rodeo City Raw, you’re choosing food made with intention, respect and care- from our kitchen to their bowl.
